DECLARATION OF BOATING ACTIVITY EXEMPTION – Life Saving Victoria Vessels associated with the Gatorade Triathlon Series – Race 4 event at Portarlington Beach on 12 March 2017 are exempt from Clause 1.4.9(d) of Schedule 1 of the Vessel Operating and Zoning Rules. This exemption applies between 4:00am – 11:00am on 12 March 2017 for the area prohibited to vessels waters off Portarlington Beach to the West of the Portarlington Pier.

Road Closure information –
Sports Media and Entertainment 360 wish to advise you of the traffic management arrangements for the Gatorade Triathlon taking place in Portarlington on Sunday March 12. Celebrating its 31st year in Portarlington, the Gatorade Triathlon is the longest running triathlon in Victoria.

TEMPORARY CHANGED TRAFFIC CONDITIONS

To ensure the events safe conduct the roads listed below require traffic treatments to be implemented from approximately 6.30am to approximately 11.30am on Sunday March 12.
The Esplanade between Pier Street and Hood Road
Harding Street between The Esplanade and Newcombe Street, requires the road to be closed to motorists.

SHARED ROAD USE ARRANGEMENTS ON THE EVENT DAY
Cycling in a clock wise direction, the event participants will travel on The Esplanade, Bluff Road, Drysdale – St Leonards Road, Portarlington – Queenscliff Road and Fisher Street.

Motorists are able to travel in an anti clock wise direction while the event participants are on roads listed above. Residents or visitors to the Bellarine Peninsula needing to travel on the roads listed above are asked to please proceed with caution and to be patient as delays are expected.
